After graduating from high school I spent 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. I come from a long line of military veterans, and will always appreciate what our service men and women do for this country. I left the Marines in 2003 with an honorable discharge, and attended Appalachian State University where I earned a bachelor's degree in health educaiton. My first two years of teaching was at Coulwood Middle School where I taught health education to grades 6-8. I took three years off from teaching in 2009 while I persued a Master's degree in special education. I have been apart of the OCS program at North Meck High School from 2012 until Spring of 2019 where I took over as an extensions teacher.
